Yukon

Yukon is now available for adoption. Despite having a sad story, he is a loving and resilient dog who loves everyone he meets. <br/><br/>What we learned was that Yukon and his brother (who has been adopted) were abandoned by their owner in a home for 3 months without electricity. They survived by sharing food with a person who was also abandoned in the home, who was unable to fully care for himself. <br/><br/>Yukon is a 2.5 year old husky / pit bull mix. He gets along great with other dogs and currently lives in a daycare/boarding facility. <br/><br/>Yukon is crate-trained and potty-trained. He prefers a schedule and will only potty indoors if you sleep in and don't have him outside by 8 AM. Yukon is very sweet and listens well. He is full of energy, but also settles down to snuggle. He would be best in a home without cats or small dogs. <br/><br/>Yukon is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on prevention
