Yota's Story

Meet YOTA (like Toyota:) He is a 3 year old Catahoula mix that wighs 40 pounds. He was surrendered because he did not do well around the cats in the home but has since visited 2 different homes of a staff member and volunteer and did great around multiple cats both times. He is a LOVER and even jumped in the creek on his first dog hike.

Yota LOVES to go on walks, hikes, runs, playing fetch, swimming, or really any kind of activity. He loves any form of stuffy toy or ball and often greets you with it when you come to visit him. He also loves to tell you how excited he is to see you by talking. He is incredibly smart and will be easy to train. He already knows how to sit and shake! Although he is full of energy and loves a good adventure, he is also very cuddly when he gets to spend time with employees and volunteers. At one of his slumber parties, he curled up on the couch and just enjoyed being in ahome.

Yota would best benefit from an active family who also has another dog buddy for him. He loves his yard mate, Charlie, but can really become besties with any dog that he gets to meet.

We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $135 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.

If you are interested in this pet, please fill out our ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://bit.ly/3HN4Tqq

Visit our website at www.PetPlacementCenter.com
