Yoshi is an irresistibly cute corgi–shorkie mix—yes, corgi and shorkie! How interesting is that? At just about one year old and weighing a perfect 17 pounds, Yoshi is a wonderful blend of charm, energy, and affection. Small in size but big in personality, he’s always ready for his next adventure.<br/><br/>Yoshi came to ARC through no fault of his own. He was deeply loved by his family, but his favorite little human developed severe allergies that continued to worsen over the past year. After trying everything they could, they made the heartbreaking decision to surrender Yoshi so he could have the chance to thrive in a new home. At ARC, we understand how difficult this decision was and are grateful they put Yoshi’s well-being first.<br/><br/>This sweet boy is incredibly loving and active. He adores outdoor play, whether that means running laps in the yard, going on walks, or burning off energy with toys. Yoshi especially loves children and does wonderfully with them. He is also dog- and cat-friendly, making him a great fit for many types of households.<br/><br/>Yoshi is fully potty trained and does not need wee-wee pads. He does well when left alone and will patiently wait for his people to come home to take him outside to use the bathroom—a very good boy indeed.<br/><br/>Yoshi is scheduled to be neutered soon and is currently looking for a foster-to-adopt home where he can begin settling in, feel safe, and receive his medical care through the rescue.
