YODA's Story

MEET YODA! Yoda is a sweet and sensitive young boy who thrives on positive reinforcement and deep connection with his people. He has a gentle personality and loves quiet moments of closeness and simply being near his person. He has lived with another dog previously and could do well with another respecful dog in the future, however he would be totally cool to be the only dog as well. One of his favorite things is stopping to look up at trees and watch squirrels, he’s wonderfully curious and observant of the world around him. Yoda would thrive in a home that can offer him slower transitions, a calm walking environment, and patient guidance as he continues building his confidence. He is emotionally tuned in, deeply bonded to the people he trusts, and full of quiet affection. My friends describe me as: Curious, Affectionate, Shy Yoda is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Animal Rescue League of Boston's Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
