Yeti's Story

Yeti is a ~1.5 year old boy who is ~115lbs! This big, goofy guy is very sweet and just wants to be loved! He likes ice cubes as treats and to "assist" you while you're cooking/baking... He is completely potty trained, and has not had even one accident in the foster's house. He knows how to use a dog door, even if he barely fits through the foster's! He's non-discriminatory when it comes to toys, but does love a good squeaker stuffy. He has been in the same yard/area as the foster's chickens, and for the most part, he leaves them alone when supervised. But if one of them runs, he thinks that they are a fun toy to chase. He has gotten along with best female dogs, and he doesn't like unfixed, reactive males. He does best being fed separately from other dogs, but can be given treats around other dogs and is improving each day. His foster said it was very easy to manage. He would do best with someone who has lot's of property, the understanding that he will need regular brushing, etc.

You may notice his fur looks pretty silly, that's because he came to us in a not-so-great condition and his fur is still growing back! If you think Yeti may be the one for you, give us a call to inquire and learn a little more about him!

He's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. He is $185 to bring home

If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
