Meet Xiomara
Xiomara (Mara) is a beautiful young shepherd mix who was found as a stray with a severely dislocated front leg. Despite the vet’s best attempts to repair the severed nerves and tendons, the best option for Mara was to amputate the useless limb. She is a strong, brave girl and she remained sweet and friendly throughout the entire ordeal. She is now recovering nicely and is ready for her forever home.
All of our animals are in foster homes so we know their personalities and unique needs. They are spayed or neutered, dewormed, microchipped, current on vaccinations and started on heartworm and flea prevention. Dogs over six months are tested for heartworms and treated if necessary. Our adoption fee is $195 for all dogs and puppies. Our goal is to match our animals to the best home possible and we reserve the right to decline an application if it is not a good fit for that particular animal.
