Xena's Story

Meet Xena!
This pretty girl is a 5 year old spayed Doberman. She's extremely loving with people, and warmed right up to us as soon as she entered the shelter. She is now looking for her forever home!
Her owner rescued her a couple of years ago, and they aren't sure of her background before they got her. She didn't really know what toys were, and she was learning with them how to act like a real dog! Her previous owner has a small child and said Xena was amazing with him. Xena was surrendered to us due to getting in a severe fight with another female dog in the home. She mostly did good with the males, but to ensure everyone's safety we will not adopt her out to a home with any females dogs. Out of caution we will require that she meet any male dogs in the home to make sure they get along. She has never been around cats to our knowledge.
Xena has been trained, and she knows how to stay on her best behavior! She knows how to sit, shake, and lay down, and will go into a kennel on command. She is also housebroken. Her owner didn't notice any signs of destructiveness or separation anxiety, and said Xena did well being left home alone during the day. Now, she is a big girl, and she will need an owner capable of handling her in all of her greatness!
Xena has received her first round of vaccinations and is ready to go to her forever home! If you think this could be the pooch for you, stop by and meet her today!
