Xavier

This is Xavier. And when he first arrived at the shelter, he needed a LOT of help.
Xavier came to us with a horrible ear infection and a coat that was so badly matted and overgrown that we had no choice but to completely shave him down. He wasn't exactly feeling his best when he walked through our doors.
But look at him now. At around 115 pounds, Xavier is one BIG, handsome boy! His fluffy coat is growing back, his ears have gotten the care they desperately needed, and he's ready to put his past behind him and start looking toward the future. He's got the most adorable floppy ears, beautiful eyes, and a tongue that seems to have a permanent case of the "I'm a happy boy!" hang-out!
We can't change what happened to Xavier before he came to us, but we can change what happens next. What Xavier needs now is someone who will see past his size and his rough beginning and give him the one thing every shelter dog deserves: A family of his own. Let's find Xavier the home where he can finally be spoiled, loved, and reminded every single day that he matters.
