Wynn, this fantastic Miniature Poodle, is completely house trained and extremely affectionate and loving. <br/>Wynn can never see the inside of a crate, ever - for the rest of his life. He does not chew. He can be left indoors without the need for a crate. <br/>Wynn will live his best life with a retired person or couple or with someone who works from home. He has no separation anxiety but wants to be around people more than he wants to be left alone. A calm, low traffic household without children and cats or small animals is necessary. As noted by his action photos, a large area to run free will be a bonus but not a requirement.<br/>Wynn eats his food with the Willow Run pack in a communal environment. He has no aggression at all regarding food or toys. *Basted bones or *butcher bones* are known to cause the most gentle dog to growl and protect. We cannot speak about basted bones as we do not offer them here for the reason as stated. <br/>Quick, abrupt movements when addressing Wynn for any reason will fail. He must be handled gently, with patience and with understanding. My instinct tells me he has been through something very different. <br/>Wynn is friendly to all the dogs here at Willow Run but is more relaxed with the dogs his own size or smaller. If you have a larger dog and wish to apply for Wynn, please do. All adoptions are handled on a very personal case-by-case basis.<br/>Professional grooming must occur every six weeks or so for Wynn. If you are reading and know now that you cannot do this for Wynn, please wait until we place another dog up for adoption that does not require professional grooming. Please contact your local groomer(s) and be sure you can work this cost into your budget. The groomer will be able to provide an estimate on the cost for a now well maintained Miniature Poodle weighing approximately 15 pounds. Wynn did not enjoy his grooming appointment last week. Neither would you or I if we were in his condition.
