Wyatt Earp's Story

Meet the Tombstone crew: Wyatt Earp, Virgil Earp, Morgan Earp, Doc Holiday, Johnny Ringo, Huckleberry, and Josie. These adorable Redbone hound/Basset/?? Mixes were born in November 2019 and have recently come to DRDR. They were living outside but are learning to love the indoor life at their foster home. Several are already crate and house trained!!! Their foster family has four personal dogs who are showing these pups how to do life right!! The pups have also been exposed to children and cats. They’ve had age appropriate vaccinations and will be neutered/spayed around 6 months which is included in the adoption fee. According to their foster mom & dad, the pups have great temperaments and are friendly & social. They are very smart, learn fast and appear overall to be happy & well adjusted. They love individual attention so get a little jealous when sharing their human!

Wyatt Earp: Stunningly handsome. Impressive hound. Sweet, affectionate, loves attention.

Virgil Earl: Very sweet, gentle, affectionate. Very playful. Smart, a little shy. He loves to run & play then take naps under a shade tree.

Morgan Earp: Outgoing, friendly, happy, sweet & affectionate.

Doc Holiday: aka Little Man. Tiny but mighty. He is the runt. Small in size but big in personality. Smart, confident, beautiful deep red coat. He can run with his foster parents’ big dogs!

Johnny Ringo: Quiet, gentle, very sweet & affectionate.
Huckleberry: Oh so cute, happy, joyful, funny, sweet, affectionate and loves attention.

Josie: Like her namesake, she is a pistol. The only girl with 6 brothers and she rules the yard. The boys know she is the boss! She’s smart & feisty but also sweet & affectionate.

To submit an adoption application, go to https://dirtroaddoggiesrescue.org/adoptable-pups-adoption-application
