Healthier by the day. The horrible condition some dogs arrive in never stops surprising us. Wrinkles was a mangy mess. He looked like a tired old man. But he is not. He is probably pretty young which makes his neglect even more sad. This is maybe the only life he has known. It is time for a positive change for Wrinkles. Hes a really sweet boy that is satisfied with the simplest of things. <br/><br/>Chicago Animal Care and Control is located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, and is open from 12pm to 7pm daily. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.<br/><br/>All dogs will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.<br/><br/>All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers).<br/><br/>We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s).
