My name is Wooly and I am a 6 year old male Australian Shepherd mix and I'm currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home!<br/><br/>Meet Wooly- the dog, the myth, the certified heart melter. This 6 year old bundle of fluff came to us from an overcrowded shelter where he was found roaming as a stray and has quickly won the hearts from the staff here at SBH! He's the kind of dog that has eyes that tell a hundred stories and has a calm, loving presence. He's also the kind of dog that doesn't ask for much... just a comfy spot to relax, a few daily walks, and a human to share his gentle nature with. He has a gorgeous coat that his future family will need to maintain to help Wooly continue serving looks 24/7 and he would also thrive in a steady home environment with a loyal companion of his own. He would benefit from continued exposure to new places and experiences since he's in his "curious but still gaining confidence out in the world" era. And a bonus, he's housetrained too! Come in and meet him, after all, home is where Wooly is. <br/><br/>Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. <br/><br/>Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.<br/><br/>Need some supplies?
