Woody was found alone, cold, curled up in a ball on the forest floor. He looked up with his sad eyes, not able to muster the energy to move any more than that. He was brought into the shelter where our vet team removed 86 ticks from his tiny body and from deep inside his ears, and that is where they stopped counting. Now that he has a chance to rest and recover he has shown us his true personality. He is a smart, playful, dog who loves toys, treats, and running. He can jump up to look you in the eye and already knows how to sit and lay down.
