She walks beautifully on leash without pulling and has the cutest little happy, wiggly waddle as she goes!<br/><br/>-After a quick exploration of the yard, she came over to me for some attention. She's a little unsure about touch at first, but the more time we spent together, the more comfortable she became. A few times when I reached toward her belly or back end, she froze for just a moment, but she always recovered quickly and came right back to me. She really wanted to connect; she just needed a little reassurance along the way.<br/><br/>-She's very food motivated, which is a great way to win her heart. She already knows how to sit--often without even being asked--and takes treats incredibly gently.<br/><br/>-She wasn't interested in toys today, but inside, with some time and patience, she made a huge breakthrough. She eventually settled between my legs, completely relaxed, and flipped over for belly rubs. It was the first time I saw her truly let her guard down. And then came the kisses! <br/><br/>-She's a gentle girl who just needs someone willing to give her the time and patience to feel safe. Once she knows she can trust you, she'll show you what a sweet, affectionate girl she really is.<br/><br/>-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros <br/><br/>Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids<br/><br/>*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt <br/><br/>*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. <br/><br/>*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. <br/><br/>*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. <br/><br/>*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. <br/><br/>**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home.
