Meet Woodchip<br/><br/>Woodchip is a sweet, resilient girl who has an incredible story of survival.<br/><br/>At around a year old and approximately 40–45 pounds, Woodchip is believed to be a Black Mouth Cur/Shepherd mix. She was found after surviving for nearly 60 days in the Arkabutla bottoms near Coldwater with two siblings. After being struck by a car, employees from Lizzy’s Luxury Lodge and Daycare spent hours searching for her and eventually found her hiding in a pile of woodchips surrounded by poison ivy.<br/><br/>Woodchip suffered a broken leg, but thankfully no other serious injuries. With veterinary care and lots of love from the team at Lizzy’s, she made a full recovery and is now ready for a home of her own.<br/><br/>Woodchip loves playing with other dogs and is very social with her canine friends. She was recently introduced to a seven-year-old girl and was calm, affectionate, and gentle. She never jumped on her and seemed to enjoy the attention.<br/><br/>Woodchip is spayed, current on vaccinations, crate trained, and fully healed from her injury. Despite everything she has been through, she is a happy, loving girl who always seems to have a smile on her face.<br/><br/>She has already proven just how brave she is.
