Wolfie Mixed Breed Neosho, MO

Wolfie was adopted from FFAA as a young puppy, but when his adopters had a sudden life change, he no longer fit their lifestyle and was brought back here.
According to his adopters, Wolfie would do best in a home with no cats and with older children only--but he does great with other dogs. He is an loving boy who aches to receive and to give affection. He was described as playful and friendly by his previous family, and we have found this to be true. He likes to stick close and is a bit of a conversationalist as well!
He is super food motivated, understands the concept of working for treats, and will offer up eye contact and automatic sits even in distracting environments when those treats are involved. We think he'd be super easy to train and that he would have a lot of fun doing it. He LOVES a game of fetch, showing off his long, loping strides as he runs and pounces.
Fun fact: Wolfie attended an adoption event at the local tractor supply; he spent several hours on a harness walking the store, greeting people and other dogs, getting treats, and just showing off how solid and sweet of a young dog he is.
We'd love for Wolfie to finish his puppyhood in a home instead of becoming an adult in the same shelter where he was a young puppy.
