Meet Wishbone, a super sweet ~7 month old spayed female terrier mix! We expect her to grow to a medium sized dog. She is a friendly, happy girl who loves people, kids, and other dogs!<br/><br/>Her current foster said: Wishbone has settled right in and is such a funny little girl! She's so food motivated and eager to make her foster humans and foster doggy sister happy. She kept her crate dry all night and not a peep, uses pee pads if needed, but is really good at going outside! She wants snacks, cuddles and playtime! And side note, she has such soft fur!<br/><br/>Wishbone has been working with her new foster on training. She has done amazing. She is very smart and picks up commands very quick. She knows place, come, down, sit, leave it and dog out (which is command when she needs to leave an area). She is working on her leash manners but has come a long way. She is also working on heel. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
