Winter (ADOPTED)'s Story

Welcome to Heart's Promise Sheltie Rescue and our new 9 month year old sheltie gal named WINTER. She is a darling puppy of a sheltie and getting started out in foster care with Heart's Promise Sheltie Rescue. Winter is a FUN and very playful sheltie puppy and warms up rather quickly and is crate trained. She seems to be good with other pups and likes to play in her fenced in yard and she is a puppy, leaning new things. She will need some work on her house skills and her leash training and HPSR foster care is giving her the very best of care and training. Winter will need to finish up her vetting and her spay and Micro-chip prior to her adoption. She has some long legs and she currently is around 22-25 pounds. She will probably need to put on another 4-5 pounds as she grows into a young adult. She will need an active home that understands the energy level of a sheltie puppy, and a home with no small children or toddles.

WINTER is being fostered in the ERIE, PA area.

This sheltie pup will need a SECURE FENCED IN YARD...and no exceptions. (Please do not inquire if you do not have a secure fenced in yard). We adopt to forever homes here in the state of PA and will consider adoption homes just over the PA state line, but we do not do long distance adoptions. Inquiries can be emailed to: mikelamontshelties@gmail.com or a reply here to this post on this adoption site. Adoption applications can be download from our Heart's Promise Sheltie Rescue website at: pasheltierescue.org
