Winston -READ DESCRIPTION-'s Story

**While we are accepting applications on Winston, he can't go to his new home until after he is fully vaccinated. He's due for his final vaccine on 8/1/2026** Meet Winston! Winston came to us from Jefferson County Animal Control. When they got him, he was emaciated. He is a tall boy who should weight about 60 pounds. He only weighted 40 pounds upon intake. We knew that we had to pull him into rescue and get him back in shape. He has gained 16 pounds in a little over a month! Winston will be neutered soon & is looking for a new place to call home! He is about 6 years old and is a Tree Walking Coonhound. He currently weighs about 56 pounds. Winston seems to get along well with other dogs. It is unknown how he is with cats or kids. He is an loving boy who loves to be around his people! He enjoys zoomies outside and loves pets! Winston is neutered and microchipped. He will be fully vaccinated prior to adoption!
