Meet Winston 🐾<br/>Winston is a lovely 1-year-old Pitbull/Boxer mix (our best guess!) weighing in at around 50 lbs — the perfect medium size.<br/>He is dog-friendly, people-friendly, and kid-friendly, though due to his size we recommend a home with children 10+. Winston is fully potty trained, crate trained, and knows his basic commands. He’s incredibly smart and eager to please, making him a great candidate for continued obedience training — he learns fast and loves having a “job.”<br/>This sweet boy is the perfect mix of goofy, affectionate, intelligent, and loyal. Winston’s favorite activities include playing with his foster brother and sister, curling up on the couch (or a giant pile of pillows), watching the world go by through the window, and playing with his toys — but nothing beats snuggling with his humans. He is extremely cuddly and truly just wants to give (and receive) as much love as possible.<br/>Winston has a wonderful, easygoing personality and would make an amazing companion dog. He would do best in a home with a fenced backyard where he can safely play and explore. He can feel a bit nervous on busy streets with lots of traffic, so quieter walks work best for him — though he’s also perfectly happy just hanging out at home with his people.<br/>If we had to describe Winston in one phrase, it would be: low-maintenance love bug. He’s calm, gentle, and content as long as he’s close to his humans.
