Are you looking for your next adventure buddy/cuddle buddy? Look no further! Winston is a derpy, smart boy who is up for anything. Equal parts energetic and chill, he'd love to do whatever you want to do. Car ride? Yes, please. Walk? Definitely. Watch a movie? For sure, but can it be about dogs? He would be a great hiking or camping partner, but also would love to just chill and snuggle up on the couch with you or lay nearby while you read, work, or watch TV. (If you allowed it, he also would love to just stare adoringly into your eyes.) He is a lab mix, approximately 3 years old, and weighs about 58 lbs.
Winston loves people and gets along with other dogs (with proper introductions). He learned sit, shake, wait (for walks and food), and how to use a doggie door very quickly. This lucky boy also just returned from a boarding/training program and is an improved version of himself. He walks well on a leash (heel) and can sit/stay, down/stay, place (in one designated location), and come (recall). Wait, there's more! The list of other commands he knows includes such impressive feats as quiet, kennel, get busy (go potty), and leave it. He does well in the crate and travels great in the car. He sleeps through the night and is housetrained. Being food, treat, and praise motivated, his skills will only continue to quickly improve, especially with a dedicated person willing to continue to work with him and maintain his efforts. And, he's not all brains, he's also got the looks! Everyone comments on how handsome this boy is.
Winston loves to sniff, run around the yard, and play chase/ball. He likes to play with toys, especially ones he can chew on. He'd be great as an only dog (he really loves people) or with an equally matched/playful friend. He will be a dedicated, loving boy for his lucky future forever family.
