Winston's Story

Spotlight on Winston!

Some dogs just need a little extra time for the world to see how special they are. Winston is one of those dogs.

This sweet, 11-month-old boy came to Lucky Dawg from rural Alabama four months ago, scared and defeated. Thanks to the love and patience of his wonderful foster family, his confidence has grown.

Winston is still shy when meeting new people, but a treat is the key to his heart. He’ll sit politely and take it so gently. He loves playing and spending time with other pups and needs a home with another friendly dog to be his buddy and help him feel secure.

Winston is housebroken, neutered, very gentle, and walks good on a leash. He’s ready for a family who will give him time to settle in and let his sweet personality shine.

If you’re looking for a dog with a huge heart, Winston is your guy.
