She was adopted but was just returned because she was too much for her people. She is around 9 months old now. She has a lot of energy, so you need to be prepared for that. She is a playful girl and loves to be with people. She is learning to walk on a leash, but she will need some more practice. She looks to be a Bull Terrier/Shepherd mix, but we aren't sure. This girl deserves a loving family who can teach her how to be a loved and loving member of a family. The Humane Society of Clinton County, Indiana's Adoption Policy
We require a "foster to adopt" program for all adopters, whether it be that the pet that you are interested in still has some medical work up to be done or whether we just want to give the pet time to adjust. An application is required to be filled out at the time of adoption. No appointment required to visit the animals during open hours. Upon finalizing adoption, each pet is current on vaccinations, altered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV test and/or heartworm tested. All animals over 7 years of age will have bloodwork performed at the vet. All known medical issues will be taken care of at the vet prior to finalizing adoption (dental cleanings, hernia repairs, mass removals, etc.).
