Winnie's Story

Many of you may remember Winnie from a previous post. She and her siblings were rescued from an abandoned camper that was sealed up with no air conditioning on. In addition to being closed up in a metal structure in mid 80's temperatures, these poor babies also had parvovirus. Not a very good start to their lives! After much medication, hand feeding, IV's, special food, medicated baths and extreme isolation protocol with special disinfectants, the tide finally turned for these little ones. Winnie was adopted but surrendered again. Strangely, it was about the same time her brother Fleetwood was surrendered. Winnie and Fleetwood were reunited and had such a blast playing together! We believe that they would do best with another dog as a companion. Winnie and Fleetwood would love to have families and homes that are permanent and loving. Come in and meet these precious pups Tuesday through Saturday 11 to 4. They are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on core vaccines and have tested negative for heartworms.
