Winnie's Story

Winnie is a 5 year old lab/ Shep mix. She enjoys chasing tennis balls, swimming, running, and going for walks. She is great with children and is also a very protective dog. She has a lot of patience with children and is not food aggressive. We can not care for her with 2 little children and having to fulfill military obligations and just want her to find a great home. The Heroic Tail's Adoption Policy

First submit an adoption application on our website. We will review your application and contact you as soon as possible. After speaking with you over the phone and approving your application a meet and greet with the dog will be done at a park. Home check will be done as well either prior or after meet with dog. If you decide to adopt we will be doing an adoption contract and adoption fee will be charged. If the dog you are adopting is not a puppy then you will be required to do at least one training session with our trainer at no additional cost.
