Winnie Chihuahua Mix Glendora, CA

Winnie has come a long way since being rescued. When she arrived at her foster mom’s home, she used to walk with her tail between her legs and today she’s a tail-wagger! She sleeps on her own bed, even though she’s been invited to join her foster mom on her bed. She loves her daily walks and is curious about what’s down each driveway.

As a rescue pup, life hasn't been easy and she has seen the ugly side of humanity. Humans haven't been too nice to her in the past, which is why she can be a bit hesitant at first to be affectionate, but once she feels safe, she approaches and loves, on her terms, on her own pace.

Her foster mom describes her as dainty. She also loves to take naps in the sun, she loves following her human and other pups around the house. She’s well behaved and sits pretty on the couch. She suffers from separation anxiety and dislikes being left alone. This beautiful girl is housebroken; she’ll whimper softly when she wants to go out.

Winnie will continue to make great strides and become a wonderful addition to a family without little kids or hyper pets. She’s completely vetted and has a fresh new smile after having her dental done. Isn’t she gorgeous!
