Meet Winnie! <br/><br/>Winnie is a beautiful 6-month-old retriever mix who is currently available for adoption at the City of Shasta Lake Animal Shelter. This sweet girl came to us as a stray through no fault of her own, so her past is a mystery, but her future could be with you!<br/><br/>Winnie is a fetch enthusiast and could play all day if you let her!<br/>She loves a good game of tug-of-war.<br/><br/>She's very treat motivated and already knows how to sit like a pro.<br/>Winnie takes her self-appointed neighborhood watch duties seriously and will let you know when someone stops by to say hello.<br/><br/>One of her favorite activities? Splashing around and having fun in the pool!<br/><br/>Winnie gets along with other dogs, but we do require a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs to make sure everyone is a good match.<br/><br/>Cats: Unknown. Since Winnie is still a young puppy, she has lots of potential to learn and adapt with proper introductions and training.<br/><br/>Children: Respectful children are suggested. Kids should understand how to appropriately interact with and respect a dog's space and boundaries.<br/><br/>Winnie is full of personality, love, and puppy energy. She's ready to find a family that will continue teaching her, playing with her, and giving her the forever home she deserves.
