Wilma's Story
She still has spunk and definitely shows it when you take her for a walk. One of four 13 year old little seniors, Wilma and her companions lost their owner who passed away and also have lost the only home they ever knew.

Wilma, a scant 13 lbs. has a little tilt to her walk, but gets around just fine no matter the surface or the stairs. She is very friendly despite her whirlwind change of venue.

She shows the typical lumps and bumps, semi-foggy eyes and bad breath that comes with age, yet she still has a number of years ahead of her to provide sweet companionship to a new family. She could probably also live with a cat, and direction on how to integrate them can be provided.

Senior dogs make great pets for senior people. They are able to be left alone longer, do not require a ton of physical activity and usually are already housebroken. Please come and meet this sweet senior.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
