Willow's Story
***AVAILABLE for adoption!***

Willow is a 7-8 yr old 31# spayed female pyramid Australian Cattle Dog. She is a wonderful, sweet, old soul who is very well obedience trained. She's excellent off leash. She knows how to trail ride with horses and stay with you. She will also hike with you on a trail and stay with you. She has excellent off lead. Recall. She was born on a small horse/cal farm and raised there her whole life. She's been in mostly outside dog with access to come inside when she wanted. She is housebroken leash trained. Very comfortable riding in the car or backseat of the pickup. And quite friendly with everyone she meets. She can be a little standoffish with new dogs, as is normal for her breed, but with a proper slow introduction she does fine. She came into rescue with her adult pup, Bonnie, also listed here. It will be best at this point to separate them as Bonnie is bonded to Willow too much to ever bond to her new owner as well as she should. Willow however is ready to be done with her pup, and will go on to be a wonderful senior companion for somebody with a little bit slower lifestyle but who still likes to get out and go and explore and ride trails.
