Willow (Courtesy Listing)'s Story

Willow is a beautiful, 5 year-old Australian Shepherd looking for a loving new home! She's small but mighty at 45 lbs. not a mini, but a compact, goofy companion that loves belly rubs--with a heart full of affection.

Here is what makes Willow special:
--- Brown-eyed, black-tri-color with a soft, thick, double coat, keeps her super warm even in winter in Pinedale! With the occasional help of a groomer and regular brushing, it is totally doable.
--- Kid-friendly and dog-friendly
--- Not cat-friendly. She's a fantastic hunter of mice, voles, gophers, and even small rabbits.
--- Spayed, up-to-date on shots, house-trained, and ready to move in! No special diet requirements.
--- Loves to play ball, hike trails, and be with her people whether you're exploring, reading, working, or just hanging out.
--- Talkative & expressive she'll let you know when a moose, deer, or unknown dog is nearby, but also greet you with a roo -roo-roo-roo, she talks a lot like a Husky.
--- Super smart and food-motivated food is her love language, she's quick to learn tricks, and eager to please
--- Learning to walk nicely on a leash, still needs practice...
--- Still Learning: impulse control and emotional regulation. She does best with consistent boundaries. (Don't we all?)
--- No interest in livestock she's a companion, not a herder

Willow would thrive in a home with people or kids who are home to hang out with her. Can she be left alone? Yes. But needs more time with her people/person than without. She will happily follow you from room to room or around the yard and hang out where you are.

https://tojforms.seamlessdocs.com/f/AnimalAdoptionDogApplication
