WILLOW - BEST DOG

Meet WILLOW!<br/><br/>***Willow is being fostered in Sparks, MD now and is ready for a meet and greet with any potential adopter!***<br/><br/>She is 34 lbs and estimated to be 1.5-2 years old as of June 2026. We think shes a Shepherd/Lab mix simply based on looks! She has a beautiful brindle and white coat and has cute little "Dorito" ears which fold over.<br/><br/>Willow holds a special place in our hearts! She was found as a stray in Puerto Rico along with her baby (now adopted!) several months ago. Her skin was in rough shape but she is now a transformed dog who is healed, thriving, and loving life! It is a joy to see. Best part? She is being fostered in the home with the person who adopted her puppy!! It is now her turn to find the most amazing forever home. In the meantime, she and her daughter are having a fun time playing!<br/><br/>Willow's foster says Willow is quite simply "the best dog"! Her words. She says of all the dogs she's fostered (and there are MANY!), she is one of the best. She is sweet, gentle, respectful of other dogs, medium energy but with a 'spark', loves to relax, and has easily settled into her home in only a couple of days.<br/><br/>She is currently being fostered with 4 other dogs and is great with all of them. She likes to play with other dogs but would also be absolutely fine as the only dog in the home.<br/><br/>She loves human company and will follow you from room to room but does not exhibit any separation anxiety when left alone. She simply loves the company!<br/><br/>She LOVES toys and loves to play! She loves sprinting in the backyard! A backyard is definitely not a necessity for her; however, she'd love a place to get her energy out - some nice walks, light hikes, doggie day care, etc.! She's not a couch potato but not super high energy. She's a balanced dog somewhere in the middle but definitely likes fresh air and being outside.<br/><br/>She is currently in a home with a shy cat and is curious about her. There isn't any alarming behavior exhibited with the cat although there hasn't been much interaction.<br/><br/>She is crate trained. She settles quickly in her crate and sleeps soundly throughout the night or when left alone in her crate when the foster is out.<br/><br/>She is 100% house trained!!<br/><br/>She is spayed, heartworm negative and vaccinated. <br/><br/>She's truly perfect and would be excellent as a dog for a first-time dog owner.
