Willow's Story

A little bit about Willow from her foster:

🐶 Willow would be GREAT as the only dog OR perfectly coexisting with other chill dogs - she’s just more interested in her people. This is a dog for YOU!

💜 If you’re looking for your BFF - the kind of dog who’s truly your shadow, this is your girl - she’s obsessed with her people, and you’ll never feel lonely with this little lover.

👧 She’d do GREAT with middle aged and older kids - she would maybe accidentally boop a young toddler in excitement, though she’s okay with all kinds of love and touch. She’s so obsessed with attention that she’d be an amazing companion for a kiddo who wants to hang and play with her (maybe 6 and up) 🫶🏻

🥰 Willow is EXTREMELY snuggly. Whether you’re laying in bed or sitting on the couch, she’s so happy to be laying her head on you. She loves to nuzzle her head up into your neck and just stay there, soaking up the love. She’s soooo sweet.

🏡 Even though she loves to be with her people, she also has ZERO problem being left alone for long periods. She’s fully house trained, has never once been destructive, and you’ll likely find her laying on her bed when you get home. Even if you leave for work, No one can be home all the time, and she doesn’t mind at all

🏃‍♀️ She’s medium level energy - she’d do amazing with a family who wants to run a little or hike or take her out for other fun adventures. While she does fine with 1-2 walks a day, she’s also happy getting exercise. If she’s playing or even getting training with kids or her single parents, this is perfect too.

🦴 She’s extremely smart (typical herder breed) and trains well. If you want a dog that you can train for cool tricks, she’s an amazing fit!

💜 She does not need to be crated and will either sleep on her bed just fine wherever you tell her to be (in a hallway or next to your bed) OR she’ll curl up at the foot of your bed.
