Willow

If you are looking for a companion pet who it willing to take the place of your shadow, Willow may be the guys for you! He is a 3-4 year old double dilute Australian Shepherd. Double dilutes are not albinos, but can occur with Merle to merle breeding. The great part for Willow is it did not result in him being deaf or blind, but it did cause and issue with one of his pupils and he has limited vision in one eye. It certainly doesn't impair him in anyway and he functions just like any other normal dog. It just is visibly different when you look at him. That type of breeding has also led him to be almost all white in color and the tan that is in his coat is extremely pale and dilute. He is a very pretty boy. In these photos he recently had blown his coat and when it comes back in, it is very thick and luxurious. His favorite thing in the world is to be with his people in any capacity. Walks, sitting outside, playing, hanging out on the sofa or in the kitchen, he loves it all!! He is currently around 40 pounds but needs to gain 5 to 8. He is very food motivated and learns quickly. He loves going in the vehicle and likes other dogs but you do have to watch him around cats as he is more than happy to study them intently and then give chase. He is both crate trained and housebroken. He will bark when someone comes to the home, but stops as soon as they come inside. He also sounds the alarm for delivery drivers or solicitors but in general is not a nuisance barker. He would be a great pet for a first time dog owner or busy family who want a companion pet without having a ton of necessary training.
