Willow's Story

Willow is a super sweet but very shy and nervous young Aussie/border collie mix who was found as a stray with little to no information about her. She tries really hard to make friends but is clearly overcoming a lot of fear when doing so. She absolutely LOVES to play with her foster siblings, especially the younger and more active ones. That is where she truly shines, and would do best in an active home with other active younger dogs. She has been great with cats, horses and chickens. She doesn’t free-roam with the horses and chickens, but doesn’t really seem to care about them being nearby. She is terrified of the car and so far has been really resistant to being taken out of her foster home to go on any adventures. She was so scared of the stairs when getting here, but has learned to climb them in just a few days. She is getting more and more comfortable every day, but it is going to take time and patience. If you are looking for a dog who is eager to learn to love again, this is your girl!
