Willow's Story

My name is Willow! I hope you are looking at me. I am in need of a home - a forever home or a foster home. I am about 47 lbs and 2 years old. I am a bulldog - probably mostly American! I am a really fun loving goofy girl. Everything in my life, I take with stride and nothing has gotten me down. I am good with dogs, kids and cats. Yes, I have zero animosity towards them all. However, they may not love some of my antics. I have lived with young kids, even babies. But, I do get excited and when I do, I can certainly be a knock down risk. I get my zoomies out, then relax with the rest of the crew. I am fine with other dogs and have lived with cats but expect me to be interested, playful and involved in it all! My ideal new person or family? A fenced in yard would be ideal along with a person that is active, likes to take walks and hikes and will allow me to take those strolls that I never really had. I love going out on leash. Don’t get me wrong, I can lounge and cuddle too - I am a master at that. A single person or busy family - I can do either! Kids 8+ are best for me (just because I can be a brut when I am overly happy). Other dogs are fine and cats too. But, again, I hope they will interact with me! I am housebroken. I have never used a crate but I may be open to it. I do need some basic training and obedience. I am a people pleaser and will soak up all the attention you can provide. I am located in CT! If you are interested in giving me a forever, or even a foster home, here is a link to the application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ZIVA/Dog
