Meet Willow

sweet small shy girl seeking fresh start and love! WILLOW NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Willow Best Guess for Breed: Jack Russell terrier mix (probably with other terrier type dogs)
Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of March 2024 SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 10 lbs

Gets Along With: Willow does well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. We haven't seen her with cats but she can be tested. Due to her shyness, we do not recommend her for a home with children under the age of 12

Currently Living at: DC area foster home

Special adoption considerations: Because Willow is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog. Due to her shy personality, we do not recommend her for a home with children under the age of 12.

Willow is Looking For: Her forever home! Through no fault of her own, this small sweetie ended up in the shelter. She's confused and pretty shy, but eagerly looking forward to getting out - and once again having her own humans again! She wants nothing more than to be a confident, well-loved pup dog exploring the world with her family. but to get there she needs extra patient and loving adopters who will help her acclimate to her new environment, and a welcoming resident dog who will show her how to dog.

She has so much to offer in return - all the love and loyalty in her little body, adoring gazes, happy little tail wags. What do you say? Are you Willow's soft landing?
What My Foster Says About Me: She is so sweet! Willow was a little shy the first night, trailing behind us on walks, but I already notice her slowly getting more confident as she warms up to us!
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
