Willow's Story

Meet Willow - a striking mixed breed pup, found as a stray in an infamous dumping ground. She appears to be close to 1 year old and is incredibly smart. Although Willow likely never lived in a prior to being rescued, she impresses us every day and demonstrates potential to be a fabulous member of the family. She is active, and we can see her excelling in activities that provide an outlet for her smarts and athletic abilities. She is confident, and extremely sweet, but needs boundaries and structure, as she has never been given this before. Fortunately she is an amazing student and very food motivated. Willow is going to be someone’s once in a lifetime dog - she is everything you could want in a best friend.

Name: Willow

Breed: Mixed Breed - Dutch Shepherd mix

Age: ~10 months

Weight: ~45lb

Sex: Female, spayed

Medical: No concerns

Good with men: Yes

Good with women: Yes

Good with kids 0-6: Suggest no due to energy, jumping and mouthing - has potential with training

Good with kids 6+: Not tested - suspect yes (dog experience) based on temperament

Good with dogs: Yes - fostered with dogs 10lb to 75lb.
