***Reduced adoption fee***Bella is a clever and inquisitive grey merle Great Dane mix. She is 5 years, 8 months old and weighs 66 pounds, which is a good weight for her. Great Danes are known as large, lazy dogs that can adjust to apartment life in high rise apartments. Bella is looking for a person or family without cats. She is up to date on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm disease and because she came to us already spayed and microchipped, her adoption fee is only $20.

Davie County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Cat adoptions are $100 and include first vaccines, spay or neuter and microchip. Dog adoptions are $180 and include first vaccines, heartworm test for dogs over 5 months, spay or neuter and microchip. We ask that adopters come in and meet pets they are interested in and then have a conversation with one of our adoption staff. Adoption fee includes a voucher for the mandatory spay or neuter.
