Willie's Story

This sweet guy is a little shy and scared at first but warms up if you take it slow. He is between 1 and 2 years-old. He was recently surrendered to the shelter because his owner could no longer care for him. Willie likes his walks and time spent in the play yard. He is a runner and will take off exploring if you don't keep a close eye on him. His previous owner said that he loves car rides, sleeping under blankets and prefers soft food over kibble. Staff have said that he enjoys playing fetch. He is a bit of a chewer when he is bored. Willie is the perfect size companion and lap dog. As with many smaller breeds, taking it slow and earning his trust is key. He will need a quiet home with a patient owner. He has not lived with children, other dogs or cats. Please stop by the shelter any afternoon to meet Willie or call the shelter to learn more about him.
