Garland, TX - We have a beagle in the DFW area available for adoption! Meet Willie, a 10-month-old Beagle who weighs 38 pounds, is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and an absolute sweetheart.<br/><br/>Willie is currently living with a foster family in Garland. Sadly, his previous owners kept him chained in the backyard, and before coming to us he had never experienced life inside a home or with a family. In the time he’s been with us, he has embraced full-time family life and is thriving.<br/><br/>Willie is extremely sweet with children (his foster family includes a 9- and 11-year-old) and does well with dogs (his foster family has a 13 month old beagle). But, Willie will need a home without cats.<br/><br/>If you have other dogs, a playful companion of similar age would be ideal, as Willie has plenty of energy and loves to play. He is crate trained and potty trained. Because he spent most of his life outdoors, he still has some learning to do with manners and obedience, but he more than makes up for it with cuddles and affection. It’s clear he was starved for human attention, and he absolutely aims to please.<br/><br/>Potential adopters will need to fill out an application on the Ninja Paws Rescue website.
