He's sweet, calm, and always happy to soak up a few extra pets from anyone willing to hand them out. He has that easygoing, go-with-the-flow personality that makes him such an easy dog to love.<br/><br/>He gets along great with other dogs, is cat-friendly, and is the kind of dog whos happy just being wherever his people are. A walk, a nap, or a lazy evening on the couch? He's all in.<br/><br/>William is ready to trade his kennel for a cozy couch, a family to adore, and a lifetime of belly rubs. We have a feeling he's going to make someone very, very happy. <br/><br/>William is a 3-year-old Rottweiler that weighs 62 lbs.<br/><br/>Sadly, William tested positive for heartworms. But please dont let this scare you away! We just need to get him into a home during his treatment. The cost for the heartworm treatment is completely covered. We can provide you with more info about his heartworm treatment if you are interested in adopting or fostering him (wed love to find him a foster home!). Once his treatment plan is completed, William will be able to live a normal healthy life with no restrictions!<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
