She is walking much better on a leash now and not flinching as much with touch. She will require an experienced handler only because shes so nervous. She has zero aggression. <br/><br/> Wilda does open up around other dogs. She enjoys being a follower and when she trusts you, its a great feeling. Cliff's Coonhound Rescue & Trapping's Adoption Policy
We adopt all over the US and Canada (unless otherwise stated on bio of pet) Our adoption process is as follows: Step 1: Adoption application (including 2 personal references and 1 vet reference, if current or past pet owner) Please allow up to 2 weeks for application to be reviewed and completed. Dog adoption application: http://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/VACC/Dog Step 2: Home check (In person or virtual) Once you have received word your application has been reviewed, the home check is the next step. This is simply a walk through of the home. Step 3: Once home check is approved, the animal is allowed to start the 2 week trial. Once finial decision is made, adoption contract is signed. $275 adoption donation (for dogs 7 and under, $175 for dogs over 7 years old) due AFTER the 2 week trial. Each adoption is offered 2 FREE 1 hour training sessions with a partnered trainer of ours. These sessions are offered in person in Maryland area or online if your not local to the Maryland trainer.
