White Jindo Mix Long Island City, NY

Doesn’t White have such expressive and soulful eyes?! He’s a male Jindo mix that’s 7 months old and weighs about 24 pounds. We rescued White, along with 11 other dogs, at a dog meat farm in Yongin, Korea. Now White’s here and hopeful to find the right forever home! Given his unfortunate background, White’s taking time to warm up and adjust to his new surroundings. Once he’s comfortable, he’s best described as sweet, affectionate, playful, and sensitive. He’s a big fan of his delicious meals and bully sticks! He also gets along really well with his foster sister (dog) and enjoys playing with her. ? White’s looking for an adopter that lives outside of the city who will help him with potty training, crate training, and his confidence in general. Are you the one for White? Apply to adopt!

Meet our adoptable dogs on Sunday!

Come to our adoption event on Sunday, July 25th @ Bark Park in Williamsburg (14 Berry St, Brooklyn). This event will be held outdoors from 12:00 pm – 3:30 pm and open to the public! Meet the dogs for adoption in person and possibly adopt the same day! No sign up or ticket is needed! We ask you kindly wear a mask inside the adoption truck.

*Important* Submit your application before the event to receive an interview in-person. No guarantees of adoption are not promised in the best interest of matching the dog to the right applicant. Cut-off time for last interview is 3 pm.

Our adoption radius is now within 30 miles of the following locations: NYC, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Western & Eastern CT. You must be able to pick up the dog at our office in Astoria, Queens (no exceptions). You must wear a mask and practice safe social distancing when traveling and picking up the dog.
