Around a year old and 30–35 pounds, she's what we like to call a “pocket shepherd”—all the beauty and intelligence of a shepherd in a smaller, easy-to-manage size.<br/><br/>She's incredibly sweet and submissive, does well with other dogs, and carries a quiet, sensitive nature. Whisper recently finished raising her puppies and is now ready for a chance to just be someone's dog.<br/><br/>Right now, she's stuck in veterinary boarding—and while she's been patient, this environment isn't where she'll thrive. Our adoption process may take a little time, and you might notice we ask a lot of questions. That’s because we want to ensure a lasting and happy match for everyone involved. There are no “right” or “wrong” answers—these questions simply help us guide you toward the pet who will fit best with your family, lifestyle, and expectations. Many of the animals who come into our care have faced hardship, uncertainty, or even the risk of euthanasia. Our mission is to give them a second chance—and to place them in loving, responsible, lifelong homes where they can finally feel safe and secure.
