Meet Whiskey - or "Millie," the name she knows best from her foster family! With a big, happy tail wag and an energy-filled personality, Millie is truly as sweet as sugar. Although she is super friendly, she takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, and prefers to be close to the people she trusts.<br/><br/>Millie loves children, even though her size and enthusiasm might be overwhelming at times. She's friendly with other dogs and has been good with her foster family's cats, although she's a little disappointed when they don't want play with her! <br/><br/>She is completely housebroken, but does sometimes pee when she meets a strange person (out of nervousness). Millie already knows sit, down, and continues to work on stay - though following her people everywhere is kind of her favorite thing. She's incredibly smart, eager to learn, and picks things up quickly.<br/><br/>At night, Millie sleeps peacefully on her bed. While she's not a big fan of the crate, she's perfectly happy having her own cozy space. She absolutely loves to run, play, and be outdoors, so a fenced yard or farm setting would be ideal for her active lifestyle. Millie would do best with a canine companion, or frequent visits to the dog park. She is happiest with a good playmate. <br/><br/>Millie can be a little mouthy, but she doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Toys are a must! Tennis balls and crinkly toys are her favorites at the moment. She enjoys playing fetch and will *sometimes* return the ball to you. <br/><br/>Millie is a joyful, affectionate, and energetic girl who would make a wonderful addition to so many homes.
