Meet Wheeler!

Perfection...if you would look up "the perfect dog" in the dog dictionary you would see a picture of this guy!!
Wheeler is perfect...honestly there's no other way to describe him. He is 6 months old and 35-40 pounds. He is well mannered, low to medium energy, loves other dogs and is good with cats. He loves people and getting all the love from people. He is hearing impaired, but I think he can hear different tones. If he's sleeping and my dogs bark he wakes up. Other than that nothing. He would absolutely love a family that goes on adventures.... hiking, camping, lots of nature walks. He loves to run and play chase with his foster friends. He is potty trained and does great in a kennel at night. I've never fostered a deaf puppy before so I was scared when I found out he couldn't hear. Didn't know if I was the right foster home for him or if I was going to be able to give him all he needed or how to train him...well he is by far the easiest pup I've fostered. He just knew what and how to do things. From 8 weeks old he would not potty in his kennel or in the house. I am just so amazed at how good he is knowing I really didn't do anything for him to be this amazing. I hope someday someone will give him a chance and see just how perfect he is. Everyone that has met him has fallen in love with him. Plus a bonus with him is he won't bark when the Amazon or UPS guy comes to drop off your packages as long as he doesn't see him!!
Wheeler is available for adoption through Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue based out of Watertown, WI. He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed UTD on all age appropriate vaccines, and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $425. To apply, please visit mapawsmepetrescue.com.

All Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue dogs are in homes with foster families; we do not have a shelter where dogs are available for daily viewing.

Our process is as follows:
1. Review our policies and adoption radius on our website: http://mapawsmepetrescue.com/adopt/
2. Submit an application for review and approval;
3. MPM Rescue reviews application and checks vet records and references;
4. MPM foster contacts approved applicant(s) to arrange a home check and meeting with available dog(s);
5. If there is a good fit, adoption is completed with a contract and fees (payable via check or cash).

Dogs from Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
- Spay/Neuter surgery
- Age appropriate vaccinations
- Heartworm test (for dogs over 6mo) and treatment if positive
- Microchip
- Deworming
- Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
- Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian
