Because of this, his adopter must be committed to maintaining strong boundaries from the very beginning and continuing training to help set both West and his future family up for success.<br/><br/>West is also dog selective and would do best as the only dog in the home where he can have a calm, structured environment and avoid unnecessary stress or competition.<br/><br/>Training will be required, and his ideal home will understand that consistency is key.
