When she was rescued, she was pregnant and in poor condition. As part of our *Spay and Release* program, her pregnancy was safely interrupted to protect her health and prevent more unwanted births on the streets.<br/><br/>She’s now recovering from her sterilization surgery and showing her true self — a noble, affectionate dog who just wants to be near people. However, we suspect she may have *Ehrlichia*, a tick-borne disease that needs treatment.
