MEET WEDNESDAY! <br/><br/>Wednesday is a beautiful French Bulldog born on April 8, 2025, and she's looking for a very special forever family who will love her for exactly who she is!<br/><br/> Wednesday's story didn't start out the way it should have.<br/><br/>Rescued from a backyard breeder, Wednesday spent the majority of her young life living in a crate. She never got to experience the simple joys of being a dog. Things like toys, treats, running around a yard, and even receiving affection were completely foreign to her.<br/><br/>For the past couple of months, Wednesday has been living in a loving foster home, where she's slowly but surely learning what life is supposed to be like. <br/><br/>And let us tell you... this girl has PERSONALITY! <br/><br/>Normal everyday dog activities are still brand new to Wednesday, and sometimes they're VERY ALARMING! But underneath that timid exterior is a hilarious, feisty little girl who desperately wants to love and be loved.<br/><br/> Here's what we've learned about Wednesday:<br/><br/> Once she trusts you, she absolutely LOVES being petted and cuddling on the couch.<br/><br/> She's starting to get the ZOOMIES outside and loves having her foster brothers chase her around the yard!<br/><br/> She's discovering the wonderful world of treats and toys. She's still figuring them out, but she's making progress!<br/><br/> Don't let her shy personality fool you! This little lady has discovered that stealing socks is a fantastic hobby! <br/><br/> She's still working on potty training. Because, well... FRENCH BULLDOG! <br/><br/> She can tolerate being crated for a few hours, but she'd like it officially documented that extended separation from her humans is completely UNACCEPTABLE! <br/><br/> She does well with other dogs, and having a friendly, confident canine sibling could help her continue building confidence.<br/><br/> Cats are unknown.<br/><br/> WHAT WEDNESDAY NEEDS IN HER FOREVER HOME:<br/><br/> French Bulldog experience is a MUST! Wednesday needs someone who understands the breed, its quirks, and its special needs.<br/><br/> A patient, calm, understanding home where she can continue learning to trust.<br/><br/> Older children who will respect her boundaries and give her space when needed.<br/><br/> Slow introductions to new people, animals, and experiences.<br/><br/> A family who understands that love, patience, and consistency will help her continue to blossom.<br/><br/> A friendly dog sibling would be a wonderful bonus!<br/><br/> Wednesday's Medical Information:<br/><br/> Spayed<br/> Up to date on vaccinations<br/> Heartworm negative<br/> Microchipped<br/><br/> Wednesday isn't looking for just any home. She's looking for HER people.<br/><br/>People who won't rush her. People who will celebrate the little victories. People who understand that a dog who has spent most of her life in a crate needs time to learn that the world can actually be a wonderful place.<br/><br/>She may steal your socks, she may give you a little Frenchie attitude, and she may occasionally act like the world is ending over something completely ridiculous. <br/><br/>Wednesday is currently in a foster home in TN. The local adoption fee is $350.
