We Willy Winkum

We Willy Winkum is a 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix with a story that’s just as unique as his adorable face. He came to our shelter from a breeder, but before that, he was raised in a home with a family who later sold him to the breeder. So while his journey has had a few twists, he’s already experienced home life and is ready to settle back into it for good.<br/><br/>The breeder originally believed he was a purebred Cavalier, but a DNA test revealed he’s actually a charming mix: 75% Cavalier, 13% Japanese Chin, and 12% Mi-Ki. Because of this, he was no longer used for breeding — which means he now gets the chance to find something even better: a loving forever home.<br/><br/>Willy is incredibly sweet and gentle. He is crate trained and does very well in his kennel (he keeps it nice and tidy!), though he will need a little continued guidance with potty training as he adjusts to a new home.<br/><br/>This tiny guy weighs just 8 pounds, but he still has plenty of personality! During his photoshoot, he showed off his playful side with a burst of zoomies that had everyone smiling.<br/><br/>And let’s talk about those eyes… <br/>We’re pretty sure Willy’s eyes have their own personality.
